Didn't have the DVD/Levinson package in my 06 IS 350. Really didn't want it in my IS "F" but really didn't have a choice. But I don't think it's working properly.

When the Audio system is on, CD or Radio, the center in dash speaker puts out 99% of the Sound. No matter how I adjust it, even full rear, all right or all left, the front center is lounder then any other speaker. In fact to hear any of the door speakers you must put your ear right up against them...

Any hints or clues besides taking the car back in and leaving it there ???

Thanks in advance for you valued assistence.....

Your dealer should be able to fix it without you having to leave it at the dealer overnight unless it is not a setting problem. But it is a Lexus and you should get treated very well while they are fixing it.

You can also 800-331-4331 (I think?) and they should also be able to fix it for you, unless there is a bigger issue with the stereo.

Call or take it too your dealer tomorrow and if they are unable to resolve the issue call the Lexus customer service.

Even though you did not want the mark levinson, it still should be working correctly. And peace of mind is there isn't a better system in a car from the factory than the Mark Levinson.
Took it into the dealer last night. They have to order >

a replacement system.

The car sure drew tons of attention. There was no lacking for service people around the car. In fact the service manager went for a ride with me, just to make sure the rest of the car was working of course !! LOL....

No radio, no problem. Would rather listen to the sound of the engine anyways!

How do you like the paddle shifters, I liked how it always drops down into 1st gear when you come to a complete stop? Caught me a little off guard when i left from the first stop light and thought it was still in second gear.

I also really like the sound difference from normal driving to heavy accelerating. The engine sounds comes to life in a big way.
Having paddle shifter for the last two years with my >

Lexus IS 350 was good prep for the IS F. However the IS F has a MUCH better tranie in it and being able to paddle shift while in the Drive mode is much better. Plus the response time to both upshifts and downshifts has been greatly improved. And the addition of the blippling throttle during the downshifts not only sounds nice, but is better for the drive train IMHO.

Going from a "die-hard" six speed manual kind of guy to liking the paddle shifters was not an easy conversion for me. But I must say that the F version really makes it a pleasure to have them and to know that the car will respond when I want it to, not when so programer wanted it to.........

The much heavier sound under acceleration is very nice. It sounds like it should letting the world know there's a real engine under the hood who's making some decent horsepower :) and of course putting a smile on our faces while doing so ! :)
