Does anyone feel that the steering response at low speeds feels very unconnected to the road, kind of like driving a caddy from the 80's

What about "sport" mode?

Even in "Sport" mode?
Steering feels a little light to me at any speed in normal mode. I'm not sure if power steering is affected by the mode button, though.
sports mode makes the steering firmer, but acutal feed back may not change much.
i also think it's numb at very low speed, ie, less than 10-15 mph. steering and feedback has never been a lexus strength and although lexus has done a fine job on this one, it's not perfect. the lexus power steering is electric which saves gas, but sacrifices feedback. hydraulic systems gives better feedback, but wasts ~ 1mpg of gas mileage.
better in sport mode but numb nonetheless , because it is electric assist it feels as though im correcting the wheel alot which always makes me think my alignment is off , hydraulic is the only way to go with such a car
My only complaint so far is the steering. I like my ISF but the steering is too firm for me, and you feel the weight of the car when going though the twisties. My EVO8 may not be as fast but it corners like its on rails. That's why I kept it.
