Looking to purchase a 08 IS-F

I might be pulling the trigger soon on a 08 IS-F...Would like to know what kind pricing I should be looking at for used ones with between 3500-8K miles on them.

I found a fully loaded 08 with 7500 miles, they are asking about 47,500. Is this a good deal? It seems like a reasonable deal to me since KBB says its worth over 50k?

Another thing, I was looking at trading in my 04 S2000 w/22K miles, KBB say it's worth about 17-20k depending on condition. Why do dealers say they don't use KBB pricing that it isn't accurate? They say my car market value is 8k when I can look on autotrader all day and find pricing for my car to be around lowest being 15k?

I think dealers go off auction pricing (Like Manheim) and use an internal pricing book, not KBB or other retail type pricing guides...most of those are optimistic.

I cannot tell you a good price on the '08's...there was a 5K incentive thru 6/30/09 and new ones were selling 49ish to 50K for awhile...now, I don't know.

Sell your S2000 yourself by listing in your local craigslist and on autotrader....have it detailed and you will make way more $$ than trading it in any day of the week..
I have an 08 IS F for sale. It has lower milage than the one you've mentioned, about 4,500, and I can match that price if you're interested.
See details in the classifieds section of this forum.
best wishes,
Michael
