Lexus Steering Wheel Problem? The Tilt wont work?

Our 2005 ls430 with 130k miles just got a problem with the steering wheel. In most lexus', every time you turn off the engine, the steering wheel will be scooted in and go all the way up so you can get out of the car more easily. Jus a couple days ago, the steering wheel quit being able to go up and down, it is stuck in the down position. Is this an expensive problem to get fixed? it "scopes" in and out, but doesnt "tilt" up and down
