Lexus has decided to not build another supercar for the time being.
The plan to build a successor to the LFA has been put on hold. Lexus executive vice president Mark Templin confirmed that the project has been shelved in an interview with
Automotive News at the Detroit Auto Show.
'We don’t have a plan for an LFA successor right now,' he said.
The company will still probably offer a halo nameplate in the future, but in the meantime it plans on focusing its efforts to make its F Sport packages and F-series models more appealing.
