Hey all i really liked the 250 350 models of the is when it came out. And planning to buy one next yr. But this yr the ISF is out and cost almost double the price of the original..Now I want the IS-F model. But is the price really worth it?? What do you think?
I agree with Stuno1, it all depends on what you want and what you can afford. There are many obvious & notable performance differences between the 250/350 and the F but you have to decide for yourself if a) if those are worth it or matter to you and b) if they are worth the additional cost associated. If it helps, I've been in love with the F since it's release and have long awaiting owning one. That being said, before purchasing I actually considered a new 350 with the F package. As much as I liked/appreciated the interior of the new 350 and the compliments that came with the F package at the end of the day, for me, the overall package still didn't compare to the F. But again, that's what I was looking for. It's tough to argue with a car that has over 400hp, gets on average 16-19 mpg (depending upon how much you're "in it") and looks as good as the F does. They truly are amazing machines. Regardless, whatever you end up with you're going to enjoy anything in the IS line. Good luck.
