Lexus IS-F modifications and what you can typically expect

I put this graph together today to show you all what the typical gains are with various upgrades from stock to full bolt-on. There was a stock 2010 IS-F on the dyno today with me and he gave me permission to use his graph. He only has 3500 miles on his car and I'm not sure how much higher his numbers could have been if he had more miles, but from what I've seen on other stock dyno's 332whp is about right.

...and yes I was testing the AFE dry filter today and it appears to have a slight drop in power. Stock filter is going back in tomorrow. :(

This is great info. I am really surprised about the AFE compared to stock filter. Do you feel the car was heat soaked at all between comparisons?

Nope I did my testing today the same as I always do it. I give it 3 runs then let it cool for a few minutes then do 2 more. Usually the 4th is the best run.
I'll be back next spring or fall after some real mileage. I'm beginning to think that 3500 miles isn't broken in yet ;-)

Thanks for the vid and testing James.

Sigh, my 04 STi made 375/375 on that same dyno.

So you don't think you'll have any mods on by then? :p

No :( The wife gets a new car THEN I can play.

I do love the way your car sounds, but I'm thinking headers and stock exhaust will be in my future. I've done loud cars and am enjoying hearing the radio. :D
