So I just thought I would post up that surround in any mode other than DVD is pure suck. Disable it for stereo channel input audio and the system actually sounds great. Much better than having the sound stage at the top of my left knee.

Can't wait to install my sirius...if I can find a place for it

There is little to no exhaust note, you must mean the intake growl ;)
lol, i was thinking about putting a box in my trunk for some good ass bass...!! what you guys think?
^^Exactly!!

My old car had a custom setup of four subs and two amps and so this is nothing compared to that. Then again, that was a SUV and not a hyper-performance sports car.

James, are you thinking about upgrading the amp as well or just connecting an aftermarket sub to the stock amp? One sub with a decent amp would work nicely with the car and not be too much :)
I worked for Tweeter for years, and was a Mobile Electronics Manager. The day I bought my 2003 Limited Explorer, I had my shop strip it down, Dynamat the whole damn thing, take out the 3rd row seat, install MB Quart Components up front and in the rear, run JL Audio Amps, a 13W7 in slot ported box, and Poineer's Indash with nav, backup camera. I've won SEVERAL sound quality competision's in it. The Mark Levinson is a nice OEM system. I think the LS460 Version sounds alot better, but aftermarket systmems can blow it away !!
I would rather save the weight. The OEM is good enough SQ for me...and I used to do competition audio...even had cars at nationals. power to weight ratio, power to weight ratio.....

Im not really sure what i want yet, i was just thinking of maybe changing the amp im not sure but i def want a custom box with 2 subs inside that fits perfectly into the trunk not taking to much space, not that there is alot of room back there anyway! lol just make sure the wiring is nicely done as well, and also having a control to control the bass of the subs

The F truck is a decent size to be able to put two subs in the back and still have plenty of room. If you do it right, or have someone else custom fabricate it properly, it would look great imo

What size are you thinking of going on the subs?
yeah im definetely getting it done soon though
