Knock Sensor Error Codes on Lexus ES300 (P0325 & P0330)?

A 2000 lexus es300 and i didn't pass the Smog because i have knock sensors error codes, "P0325 Knock Sensor 1 CKT Malfunction and P0330 Knock Sensor 2 CKT Malfunction." I've been reading around and i think maybe because i wasn't putting premium 91 octane fuel in the tank it caused these errors. I was putting in 89. Could this be the cause of my problem?
