Keyless entry

Alright, I need a little help. I browsed the owners manual and couldn't find the instructions to progam the key to match a seat setting. My key was set at Lexus when I boght the car. I've had this since April 4th. My wife recently drove it and complained about having to push the memory button. I guess she is finally tired of me stalling and is threatening to "withhold" for a bit if I don't get on this.

A little help would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks

What can I say, i keep her spoiled and she keeps me happy. I know it is pretty simple, but I can't remember what the salesman said on how to do it.

Ok, here is how you can program the key fob:

1) Make sure the ignition is off

2) Press and hold the seat memory button you wish to link to the remote

3) Press the unlock button on the fob and hold both until you hear a beep

4) Release both buttons and then open a door within 30 seconds.

If you want the official instructions, they are on page 46 of the main manual.

Hope this helps.

Nice re-cap Jeff! The only thing I would add is to make sure you start with all doors closed. That should put our partner F'n around back in the saddle again! (so to speak)
I didn't even know you could do that. When will this damn snow be gone? I miss my car.

Thanks Jeff. The step I missed was make sure the car is in the off position. I've been trying with it in accessory and start. It's done and she should be happy with that.
