Rickk, I've been asking myself if I should go for it. How does it sound? Is it much louder than the stock, does it now sound like a muscle car?
Mike, I left the tips the way they came. I would have felt bad about scuffing up the nice bright tips. You have to look real hard to see them through the diffusers. I have been around alot of performance and cannot put my finger and what this cars now sounds like. That in itself is a good thing. I like being different and this car now has a new personality.
Thanks again fo the contact over at VIP auto salon. I wont buy anywhere else!
Wow! I can't believe they actually did it. You know them personally?Absoulutely!!
Thanks for the info. It'll be some time before I go this far with the new IS-F.Yes I do know them very well, in fact only one tech touches my car. I am able to go into the service area and watch making sure everything is done just right. The whole svr dept was very excited to see the mod and hear it when complete. As far as pricing as I have mentioned in other threads contact Clark Isihara @ VIP Auto Salon for the best deeal on the physical parts. My dealer charged me for 2.5 hrs @ $100 per. If you saw the original thread posted by JOE Z you must have a Special Service Tool (SST) to remove the O2 sensors from the exhaust system.
Awesome stuffMike, I ordered the Intake at the same time. It should arrive any day. I had mine anodized in Black. I will soon have the Complete package!
