ISF Color question
Currently own a '08 USB IS-F and I am contemplating getting a '11.
Got a question as far as the different colors available and more precisely about the Silver on previous MY 08/09/10? IS-F Vs. 2011 Mercury Metallic.
Could someone please confirm that the Mercury Metallic is indeed a color recently released by Lexus and is different from the Silver available in the previous years. ?
Saw what I think was a Mercury Metallic (per Lexus website) IS-F in the street and it does look much different and much much better than the Silver that was offered previously.
I can email a pic of that MM IS-F to support that.

The Mercury Metallic available on MY 11 is the same MM on MYs '08, '09, and 10. Lexus does indeed have another silver very close to MM, it is Tungsten Pearl. In the IS line, MM is exclusive to the ISF. TP is available on the rest of the IS line. In the sunlight you can see the metallic in the MM. Pearl is supposed to change color in different lights. How do I know the difference? My wife's ES is TP and my F is MM. In the garage in the shade, the look the same to me. In the sun mine sparkles a bit more.

^What Lou said regarding the OP's color question. There have been no factory offered color changes to the F since its release in '08 (at least that I'm aware of). The colors and shades are still Matador Red Mica, Mercury Metallic, Obsidian, Smokey Granite Mica, Starfire Pearl and Ultrasonic Blue Mica. No variation in shades has been spoken of either. If the color is different, the dealership could have had it painted otherwise.
