you could use the picture/media or news threads!

I don't understand this article at all, and it only goes to prove what we have been saying in here all along.....the media and journalist's in the automotive industry don't have a clue what they are talking about. From this day forth I am boycotting every car magazine and I have since been relegated to reading about Bradgelina and Lindsey Lohan in US magazine exclusively when i'm dropping the Cosby's off at the pool:(
"It's not that the Lexus is slow. Au contraire; it's roughly as quick as BMW's M3"

What is he talking about in this article? Everyone knows the IS-F is faster to 60, 70, 100, 170!!!!!

"It's just that if you're going to play with the GT-R, you'd better have one of those new supercharged ZR1 Corvettes or the very latest, 560-hp Lamborghini Murcielago"

Again more nonsense! This guy is starting to sound like those incredulous bmw strokers in silicon valley with all his stroking nonsense. Below is a Z06 (Not ZR1) Walking all over a GTR with an intake and headers:

You might say well Thecatch83, the Z06 with headers and intake and tune make all the difference? Below is a stock Z06 pulling away as well:

The new GTR is an iconic supercar that is so electronically complicated and intricately advanced that you need to fly in NISMO techs from Japan just to change the freaking oil! The car is anything but practical, commands an exhorbitant mark up, is ridiculously expensive to own and from the front looks like a G37, from the side an IS-F on steroids and from the rear a nissan maxima!

Stupid Article..Don't get so worked up on the article..I mean we all know F is quicker than M3 this coming from someone who actually likes M3 only b/c it corners better..Also condition is that YES, M3 has to be on the track..
Everyday driving F is better car..As for GTR I get the feeling sometime that as if Nissan paid LOT of Money to mag companies to give heavily exposure..
I mean I still love the GTR no doubt..Damn Markup is killing anyone who wants one as a main or second car(Me!!!)..

Anyway fu** the stupid article..
Amongst many other things, This sums it up for me quite nicely:

"The Lexus takes a more balanced approach. The steering is precise - it's BMW M car good - and the suspension is more than competent. But where the GT-R thinks it's a go-kart, the IS-F knows its dual role as a sports sedan."

As much as the GT-R is very covetted, for me I suspect that the IS-F is much more user friendly and sane, (to be fair, tho, I've not driven the GT-R yet).

Can't post in the news section, only for admin.

Sorry ya'll don't like the article. I found it very interesting that they compared the IS-F with the GT-R and thought people would be interested in reading it, looks like I was mistaken.
good read, I think one problem with all these reviews is that the ISF takes some time to figure out. I just picked up a gmeter today and did two 0-60 runs. one at 4.5 and one at 5.3 Both were just mashing the throttle in sport mode and trac off. One I had more weight with a passenger, but a times the car feels like it jumps out of its tires, other times it is more refined. So I can see someone getting in and not getting the feel of the car off the bat. Oh well, the article is good, but does not really give us any info. I need to drive a GTR I guess.

Road and track clocked a 4.2 0-60....and I've hit that a few times with a stop watch, no spare tire, 1/4 tank of gas in sport mode and traction control on (no tire spin).
