My wife has free service on here BMW 335i convert. for the first 50k miles. I now know how they do it.
I took my ISF in a 1k miles for a check up and 5k for the first oil and filter change.
My wife called the BMW dealer when her car hit 5k to schedule the oil/filter change and they told her not to being it in, to wait until she got a change oil light. She now has 12k miles on it and still no light.
I will probably have the oil and filter changed at Kwik Kar Lube for my own peace of mind.
At the rate it is going they may never furnish any service during the first 50k miles.
