IS-F Nav and Limiter Modifications...??

New to the board and I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this post, but here gos..

I've been scouring the web looking for modifications for the 2008 Navigation system and other annoying sounds... Any recommendations on unlocking the navigation system while driving, allowing DVD playback while driving, turning off the door adjar beeping and finally, removing the limiter on the car without voiding the warranty?? I pointed out to my sales guy BMW will flash your software for $1200 w/o voiding warranty. Lexus?? No go from what I've been told.

I know you can remove some fuses (like the speed sensor, etc) or even do some wire cutting (ouch!) to get by some of the restrictions placed on OUR cars, but just wanted to know if a fireware upgrade is floating around or of any nonintrusive methods.
