My dealer re-iterated what Doug said above. I decided to go ahead and get the recall done just in case. I don't drive my car that hard so I don't think I will be affected much. I drive with my son in the car fairly frequently and his safety is the most important thing to me.

I got a thank you note from Lexus for allowing the to perform the safety recall. That is a first for me.
