Actually you can just use a regular mini rca cable and will broadcast in stereo direct through the headphone jack of your ipod. And if you need to charge it, you can always use the dc plug next to the aux input to charge your ipod/iphone.

You know, I was thinking about doing that too, but my wife wants the works for the interface. She wants to be able to watch movies from the ipod and control it from the navi screen. Vaistech sells one for $420. Is there a cheaper one that does the same thing... kinda like the Blitz and Tom's throttle control scenario? Why pay more for the same thing, right?
