You will get better sound if you get a cable that goes from the AUX port to the ipod's connector port rather than the headphones jack. I use this:Actually you can just use a regular mini rca cable and will broadcast in stereo direct through the headphone jack of your ipod.And if you need to charge it, you can always use the dc plug next to the aux input to charge your ipod/iphone.
