Iphone 3G compatible w/ Navi??

If you get the Lexus iPod adaptor it will play/control through the factory stereo but if you search the forums I believe you'll find that you don't have as many options to control your iPod as some aftermarket solutions have.

I just use the aux jack and leave my iphone in the cupholder. The bluetooth works well with the phone but you cant transfer data or your contacts.

You will get more options using the adapter. Such as video payback on the screen. If you bypass the nav system you can view movies or videos while you are driving. It is awesome. Highly recommend the adapter.

Bluetooth works terribly in my car! It must be my specific 3G Iphone, cuz it had cutoff in reception with my IS350 too. Do you have a 3G Iphone?

I have an original iPhone. I use the bluetooth connection all the time and I have never had a problem with it. Although, I have had this gorgeous chick checking me out at a stoplight while I was talking on the bluetooth. She gave me a confused look like I talk to myself.

I have the 2G, and it works great!

How exciting!!! Congrats....get some good cleaning tools, you are gonna need them. Enjoy that show room condition. Try and give the car a full visual paint inspection in the sunlight ASAP.

Any updates? I've yet to find a 3g phone user who enjoys their bluetooth integration.

Little late but I just bought my 08 the other day and bluetooth works like a champ w/ my iphone 3g. I'm now looking into just using the aux, with a belkin combo cable, the Lexus cable or one of the other 3rd party adapters which is why I landed on this thread.
