Your insurance rates will vary dependent on your age, driving record, the coverages you elect, who you are insured with and depending on the company, where you live.

You should get quotes from different insurance companies first because what I get here in CA will vary from what you get wherever you're at.
Flipside is 100% correct--there are too many variables that go into figuring your premiums to compare 2 drivers without knowing all the details. Personally, here in L.A. where insurance rates are ridiculous, I've found Nationwide was best, but I receive serious discounts from them for insuring both my cars and my home with them.

Good luck insurance shopping!
i have this little company from long island, but i have like 5 cars under the same name with my family, we are looking at like 10k or so my record right now is so bad, so
I'm in my mid 30s, clean record for 12 years and I'm paying about $50/month for the F with higher than standard coverage for the state of MD requires. It depends on numerous factors! Sad thing is, my Subaru costs more to insure than any of my other cars!
Yes generally 4WD and AWD cars are higher to insure than their 2wd counterparts.

Yep, definitely depends on where you're currently living. For example my girlfriend moved from my city to Miami, FL and she is paying almost 300 dollars more just because she is in a metropolitan area. OUTRAGEOUS! Well tceli I am also 21 and my insurance is roughly 2k per year with a previous delinquency record (which happened almost 3 years ago). Hopefully that is some help to judge your insurance. Godspeed buddy LOL
wow 2k per year is pretty good
When I first got the car my insurance was 2200. I just recently turned 25 and my insurance dropped to 2k a year. This is in the Wilmington DE area which isn't a great area. My last car someone tried to break into with a screw driver thankfully it to was a Lexus and they needless to say didn't get in.
I'm 26 yrs old and have the coverage necessary for my company (which is more than what is required for the state of Virginia) and it is $565 every 6 months! But like everyone else that is replying, too many variables and it's proved by the vast differences in all of our quotes!
1200 every 6 mo with 3 cars :)
wow Fig that is very cheap i wish it was the same for Los Angeles.
it may change after a few tickets. being over 25 sure helps
Just checked what mine will be.. I have 4 cars on my policy, taking off the mustang & adding the F will raise my ins by $180 per year...
As a new policy here in NJ (mid 30s) clean record, good Credit due to F being V8 "high performnance vehicle" lowest quotes Ive received are +/- $2900-3K per Year...they rated it at a Cat 25 compared to say a Civic at a 13 even tho Civcs are stolen every second! LOL

Dang seriously? And I thought I got a good deal. Everywhere I went quoted me around 1050-1200 / 6 months. I lucked out and my buddy found me a great broker and I got 1550/year w/ two cars. That's with 100/300k limits and $250/$500 deductibles.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm 25 in Atlanta. Also the 2nd car is liability only, so the ISF is around 1300 for full coverage.
On the F, I'm paying $332.74 every 6 months. I have 3 vehicles and my house insured with State Farm, and I'm 70 years old.

Lou
Eversince I added the ISF to my policy, I've been paying $83 more per month. That equates to $996 per year. I was expecting it to be more since I live in LA county. Thank God!
I wonder if some insurance companies are "unaware" that the ISF is a high performance vehicle :)
I'm hitting 32 in May 09 but during the time I purchased the F around 03/31/08 my Insurance company State Farm DID NOT know that F was High Performance car so they were charging me 675.00 every 6 months but after they found out that the F is a Beast now they went from 675.00 to 925.00 and finally 1225.00..
Crazy right? I'm in the process of changing over to Geico to their cheaper rate and yes I own multiple cars as well..Although I admit that my agent told me that switching the previous cars I have to Geico was the main reason why the rate on the F went up dramatically but still 1200? Kinda Steep no? I admit that I get a ticket once every 2 years or so but still..ouch!!
