I just got back from the new, very ritzy "W" hotel in Dallas. Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche and Aston Martin are commonly valet parked. Which car seemed to gather the most praise? My ISF. The valets were beside themselves. I had a girlfriend que the valet to retrieve the car while I went back to the room to get my phone. She said people actually applauded when it drove up.

Needless to say....she was in an "inspired" mood for the weekend. :D

NEVER,,,, valet your car someone will take it for a ride while your inside.I always pay the $20 or $50 and park it myself right in the front of the club ,etc.. and dont give the valet the smart key either.Just give him the ignition key.
Valet is not bad as long as you take car of the guy. You be cheap, your car gets a free test drive by a valet. Throw the guy a $20, and you should be fine, and car should be taken care !!

Just my 2 cents....
Yeah, I always take the smart key. These guys were WAY too busy to take the car anyplace other than the garage. In fact, they left it out for an hour or so to show it off before moving it in for the night.
I never valet my car. I've seen so many valets abuse and bump cars into curbs right in front of my eyes. I've refused many hotel reservations because of valet parking. I only park myself. When I went to NYC this past weekend, I had automated parking where my car is parked by automation not people.
You Got That Right, that's How Those Dings And Scratches That You Cant Explain Happen.you Drive A Lexus Flash Some Bills And Park Yourself!!
In my opinion, it seems great and all and everyone looks when you valet your car until they bring it back with a curbed wheel or a slightly dinged bumper. I'd rather not worry unless they park it in front. Valets don't car about your car.

Am I missing something about my car? I understood that it couldn't be driven without the smart key.
Yeah, I am in beverly hills with f430's, lorrinser benzos, bentleys etc everywhere and I actually had two people pull up to me and say how sweet the lexus is. I love how only the purist know exactly what the car is...from some angles the car looks like a normal lexus...until you switch to sport and manual and give them a little growl!
