Hey Everyone,

Just picked up a blue "F" Sat! Waiting for my clearbra to be installed this week then I'll be driving it more. It's a head turner and can't beat Lexus quality. I was deciding between an M5, new M3 and the C63. My buddy who's an Orthodontist bought all three b/c he couldn't decide...crazy! In the end, I think my decision is the best one. Anyone else in the DC metro area? I haven't seen any Fs on the road.

How's it goin! Well, I was working with two dealers at the same time just to see how much they are discounting. They started out at MSRP, then the one near my office only took off $1500 max. I then worked with another dealer (the one I bought my wife's 400h), both the sales manager and my previous salesperson seemed really eager to work with me especially a returning customer. I haggled back n forth remotely (email, phone & even text). I gave them my final offer & they agreed. They still made money but I just felt it was a fair deal plus I took advantage of the new special financing rate (3.9% 60 months). In the end, I'm a happy customer! Coming from a previous M3 owner, it isn't an "M" but then again, I have another car setup strictly for the track.

Thanks everyone! The interior is black and it was one of four in stock. Dealerships are more eager to deal with in-stock inventory than a color combo/option that they have to DX. Regardless, these cars have such a big markup, a few grand off they are still making quite a bit. Just do a quick search on KBB.com and price the car out with your desired option packages...you'll see how much gap there is between invoice & MSRP! Plus they have hold back and other kickbacks that most people don't know about! In the end, all it matters is both the customer and dealership are happy.

Hi Andy!

Really? My calculations gave me $1899 over invoice based on KBB's price with options. Regardless, I know dealerships are in business to make money and I just felt it was a good deal for me. Thanks for the reassurance!
