Thanks, I'll get the grille surround. How about smoked applications for the window trims, are there any? What is your feedback on the PTS exhaust, is it much louder than the OEMs, how about performance, and will the "check engine" light come on if I take off the cats? By the way I also ordered the AMSOIL filter based on what I read from you guys.
I haven't seen or heard anyone producing smoked window trim surrounds. The PTS exhaust is a great exhaust imo. I am personally going to put it on my car here in less then a month or so. A lot of people have been purchasing it since you don't have to remove the stock tips, it sounds great, looks great, is easy to install and you can talk to the maker anytime you have a question on here. I have personally talked to Joe Z and he is a great guy who knows his stuff and put his exhaust through tons of testing to make sure it was right for the F.

The PTS Joe Z exhaust will not set of your CEL. The stock IS-F exhaust has two cats and the O2 sensors are located in front of and behind the first one so when Joe Z removed the second one, no CEL came on (nor has it for anyone else). I believe the gains from the exhaust were 22rwhp (correct me if I'm wrong please). Here is a link so you can hear some videos of it to see if it's too loud or not (I don't think it is, I think it's how the F should have sounded from factory )

Thanks so much for your feedback. By the way, we tried to get AMSOIL filters and they said they do not make for the ISF. Any tips how to get around this? Does this filter have the same measurements of the IS350 0f LS 460?

I would PM a guy on here named Fig. Great guy to do business with and knows his stuff. I purchased my amsoil filter directly from him (he is a distributor I believe). Shoot him a PM and he can help you with it

I am working on something, but my carbon guy got slammed with hockey helmets and other ducati parts. Hoping to get something in the next month. I will be rolling up my sleaves to get some parts done and do all the material layup myself. I would really like a grill that fits into the stock tabs and keeps things clean.

Fig
Just checking in, anything yet?

I have not modded my IS-F yet, but this is the first body mod I am interested in. Eventually also interested on JoeZ intake and (possibly) exhaust, though not for 2-3 years.

How easy are grill mods to install? That RaceMesh one looks good, and would be cool to have the upper grill matching. Also interested in what Fig comes up with.

BTW, Fig -- wish I had made that Colo meet last month -- but our first baby decided to show up early. When will we have another?

We have the annual toyota meet coming up in May. I should hopefully get my Ti exhaust on by then and a somewhat final grill done. Only time will tell. I am heading out on vacation for a week so I will be out of it for a bit. :)
