Here is my email and response from Greddy regarding their exhaust system for the IS-F from SEMA.....

My email to [email protected]:

Hi,

I have been researching performance mods for the IS-F for some time and noticed that there is not too many products out for the IS-F yet. I was really interested in seeing if Greddy was going to come out with an exhaust system for the IS-F? I know you guys did a system on an IS-F for the SEMA show, any chance that will come out for production? Please let me know as I am anxiously waiting.

Response from Greddy:

Thank you for your interest in Greddy Products. At this time there are no plans in mass producing this exhaust system. However, you are not the only one who has expressed interest. If you can generate 20+ serious buyers, then we may be able to do a Group buy. The price is not set, however it may be in the amount of $2000 U.S. If you are interested and can locate 20+ serious buyers via forums/ car clubs, please call 949-588-8300 for more details. Also, you are not the only one whom I've given this information to, try going through some popular IS-F forums. There might be a group already being formed.

So what say we try to get a group of 20 guys here to have them produce the exhaust? hehe.... :D

Wow, awesome job bchoi27, thanks for email them!

Would it be the exact one off the F? Titanium? I might be down for a GB, anyone else interested?
ya, i don't know if it would be the exact one (since the one from the show was tuned for the supercharged engine) but i am guessing it would be something close in terms of looks etc. i would definitely be down if we could get a group together. my guess is that alot of these shops are not producing for the IS-F because there just aren't too many of them out there and therefore, might not make sense for them economically (hence the 20 people min). come on guys... let's rally and get a group together!
2000 seems a bit steep on pricing since other companies have made their exhaust around the 1400 range. I know it's Greddy but most of their other exhausts for other cars don't come near that price. Do you know if they will be making a exhaust out of titanium? If so I'd be interested.

I agree, 2k is a bit steep. The one off was titanium (flipside can confirm correct?) and if they make it like the one off, it would be titanium. Before dropping 2k though, I would like to know more specifics about it
I heard that beast and it is awesome! Will it pass California SMOG?????????????????????? If so I would definitely be interested!
don't know any specifics behind it... but if it doesn't pass california smog, there are a bunch of places you can go to that will pass the car for you. might cost a little more to do this but well worth it just to get the car passed imo..

Thats one of the biggest concerns after they removed the secondary cats. I talked to Joe-Z and he said he wouldn't know for certain until somebody tried to get their car inspected with the exhaust. I guess we will have to wait and see
updates on Greddy exhaust?

Hi, any updates on the Greddy exhaust system? Is it titanium? Has anyone contacted Milltek?
intake, exhaust and others

Has anyone tried Pipercross intake filters? Not yet available for the ISF though. I've had very good experience with them for Subarus and Evos. Drop ins but they make quite a difference, plus they are washable. I took measurements and placed an order.

For brake pads, I am a fan of Performance Friction. It just gets the job done, especially on the track.

The Greddy exhaust will not be produced at this time (the original poster of this thread had an email from Greddy). They said if individuals want it, they can get a group buy of no less then 20 people and Greddy will make a set of the exhaust but no plans to go into the market other then that. Yes, it would be titanium
Im down for a group buy!!!
I wanna hear it on an F without a SC first thoughh
If someone is trying to get a group buy together, I would be interested in buying this exhaust. Also, I called HKS last week and they will not be making an exhaust for the IS-F.
aww no HKS... =( i hope blitz don't give up on this idea also...
Interesting but not surprising given new car sales and the economy that HKS will not be producing anything for the F.

Is this Greddy exhaust going to be full titanium or is it only the tips that will be titanium? I was asked this question on another board and thought it was the entire exhaust....anyone know?

Blitz has NOTHING on the table for the IS-F.. I confirmed that a couple of weeks ago..

No new parts, besides the Throttle Body Controller which works for a few Lexus models...

The Greddy exhaust that was on the Black SC'd ISF that was at Sema was a custom modified Spectrum Elite exhaust that was fitted for the Lexus is350 so I highly doubt it's made of full titanium. The Greddy Spectrum Elite exhaust is made out of stainless steel. I could be wrong though. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Gotcha. I appreciate it. I figured it was just the tips that were titanium but wasn't sure. Thanks!
