Ladies and gentleman I have very good news for us F owners. I was talking to James Evans the owner of JE import perfermance and he is going to start making some aftermarket parts for out cars. He makes custom parts for Hondas, Nissans, and LS1s (that get dropped into 240's mainly). He has one of the best shops on the east coast for import performance. I'm letting him use my car to make a set of headers custom made for our cars. He hopes to make a street and a race application. His headers for the LS1's make 30 whp so hopefully we can see the same numbers. I'm going to keep you guys updated on how this goes and I will provide dyno sheets as well. Let me know if any of you are interested because he wants to make them for production. hopefully there will be more parts to come. let me know of any ideas to relay to him as well.

the time is right now damnit!
Since this thread was started, the gestation period for a human baby has been exceeded. In other words, this is taking longer to come to fruition than it would have for a baby to be conceived and to be born:eek:

yah this is getting ridiculous if you ask me
Yes, it has taken a ridiculously long time to get these things ready for distribution.

In fact it has taken waaaay longer than every other company that is making headers for the ISF...oh wait... there still isn't a company that has headers on the market for the ISF.

What do you call these:confused: Not on the market yet, but will be sooner than these guys.

I'm not trying to defend JE Import Performance/Sikky. I am very eager to see both the Sikky and Elite headers. Since these are the only two companies that I know of that are creating headers for our cars, I just don't like seeing people overly impatient with the process, even though it is frustrating. If I were a shop thinking of delving into the ISF market, and saw people on forums blasting the few companies trying to create parts, I would think twice about taking the effort and risk.

Lou, this is directed at everybody, including me, who has been overly impatient/critical, not necessarily you.
here is how i see it. its been 10 months in the making. they have been prototyped, manufactured, installed, tested, modified, re-tested and now supposedly they are 100% and ready to go. and now they have been a vendor for how long? and still not a peep?

QUIT SCREWING THE POOCH!!!

That is a good point...why become a supporting vendor, and not even introduce yourself?

Great Andy looking forward to the final product....
Splats Car is here! I will be intsalling the AEM First to see if we can make any power with just a tune. Then on to the headers!
Careful andy we might get this thread locked too, lol. Im excited to see what happens.

Also the sicky headers im looking fwd to seeing what they come out with as a final product and numbers. Should be a quality set if there anything like there other parts.

Keep us posted on the results Andy.
I'm curious too see what your tuning efforts will yield too. Hopefully a nice bump in power :)
Andy, do you think the AEM will yield anything? I had just assumed the AEM was only to piggyback the vehicle and add the necessary air / fuel for a Turbo, Supercharger, etc? It would be pretty cool to lock some ponies up with this unit. Good Luck man and I appreciate all your efforts thus far with our F's.
Andy
Any news on the sikky headers?
Pics and final dyno #'s will be posted up here by the end of next week, hopefully sooner. We are in the middle of a production run on these headers right now. The initial run will be 25 sets and we will be taking back orders at the same time we release the final hp #'s and images. STAY TUNED!!!!!

Great! Since you guys are fairly local to me, do you also do installs?

BTW...Welcome to the forum!

Sounds good....

We are a manufacturer only, so we don't do installs. The shop that did a lot of the testing of prototypes and dyno testing does do installs though. Look em up...... JE Import Performance. Judging by the amount of times they installed and removed the various prototypes they could probably do the install blind folded! :D
