I would rank KW at the very top end of competition suspension category.
In fact most of there stuff is not for road use at all. No other coilover setup I have seen from HKS or Tein has anywhere near the technology when it comes to valving, fluid dynamics and of course the long lasting durability of Stainless Steel. SS was a must when I chose coilovers for my IS as the mag chloride here in CO eats aluminum up anodized or not. I would say that since they primarily deal with German cars however, that they are not well know in the japanese car aftermarket.

One other thing that I like about them from a supplier standpoint is that they offer a bunch of different spring rates and can setup a custom order pretty readily. So you are not bound to what Tein or HKS felt where the best springs rates for your style of driving.

On the other notes, I am hoping to get into the exhaust next week. I already have begun my intake, which you guys should really enjoy once I am done.

They will come up with a base rate, but upon request I can order springs etc to customize the setup :)
To put it in perspective, the variant 3 for the Gen1 IS were $2400 The Euro coming down will only help :D

Well, I met with KW at SEMA and it looks like unless we get a car to them in Germany we are SOL.

So I will start working with BCRacing to bring a CO set for the F to the market. http://bcracing-na.com/ They already have the application for the 250 and 350. The parts are reasonably priced and the design looks easy to service. I will keep posted.

Sport mode does not affect the suspension. I live in Colorado so the snow and salt are big concerns for me as well. There are no moving parts to "break" in either of the KW or the BC products as I have seen cross sections of each. And the BC's have a two stage anodizing process that start with a Nickel and chromiun plating of the base material to prevent corrosion, the KW's are stainless.

I have just ordered a set of development BC racing coilovers for the F. Prelim springs rates are 14K front and 10K rear. Should get them in 3 weeks so I will keep you guys posted.
