fuel injection cleaning

I bring my car to a local Lexus/Toyota shop and they are recommending a fuel injection cleaning at 25,000 miles. They worked on my car and my father's car before that and are very trustworthy. The mechanics are all certified by Lexus/Toyota. The thing is I don't see this on the Lexus recommended maintenance for the IS-F. Is this needed? I don't think a a fuel injector cleaning would hurt and if anything it may help performance. Opinions?

You can get some SeaFoam from the local autoparts store and read the instructions on it.

The dealer "fuel injection system cleaning" always seemed like a rip off to me.

Any clue as to how well this product works? I purchased some of this a while back and have not used it yet.
