From Z to F

I've been lurking on here for about a month now and am finally getting my IS-F today. I've only gotten an hour and a half of sleep and I'm dead tired at work just thinking about the new "F". Here's a little background info on myself. I've had a Honda prelude, Mitsubishi Starion, Nissan 350z, and now am stepping up to the IS-F. I'm stoked. And I've got parts waiting to be put on the F. This saturday I'm getting the car dropped about an inch with some Tein High tech springs, I've also got some dope wheels with extremely low offsets I'm going to try to fit by rolling and pulling the rear fenders and do some camber adjustments. And I've ordered the infamous Joe Z intake which has been on back order. (Thanks Clark!) I'll take pics tonight upon my delivery of my 08 usb is-f. You guys seem like a cool group of dudes n (gals!) So I deff look to hearing and learning from you all. I'm from Houston and I've seen only two in Houston, which is a silver one and I know a guy with a white one. In any case, I'll take some pics although I'm sure you guys are tired of seeing stock usb F's. But oh well. alright guys I'm out.

ISP,

I don't know if you have met Peter (houstonT). He also lives here in Houston and drives a white ISF with a Joe Z intake and Joe Z cat back exhaust. I live in Friendswood and have a 2008 Matador Red Mica ISF. Just dyno'd again this morning. First opportunity since I changed out the Lexus exhaust from the primary cats back with the Joe Z cat backs about 3 weeks ago. I have also had MHP tune the ECM. Today's results: SAE rwhp = 377, SAE rwtq = 361.

My Joe Z intake has shipped and should be here on Friday. Will re-dyno afterwards, then will need to retune. Right now A/F ratio is ideal at about 13.2 under WOT up to about 5,200 rpm then drops to 12.2 between 5,200 rpm and 6,700 rpm.

Tony, I hope you take lots of pictures of it !!! I want some to show what my customer's have done with their vehicle's !!
Sweet, congrats on finally picking it up! I am sure the wait will be worth it. I think we have a pretty good group here. All super cool folks so far.

Fig,

Is it snowing in Colo yet? My parents actually live in Blackhawk which is close to Golden CO. I go up there a couple times a year to visit them. How's the F handle snow? I'm guessing pretty poorly lol.
Congrats on the F and please take some pics so we can see what you have done with it once the mods are completed!

It is actually not too bad. Its no snow hound, but a level head and a light pedal will get you pretty much anywhere you need to go. I have had to drive quite a bit over the winter and never stuck, so that is good. Itching for the wide sticky rubber though, cannot wait for summer.
