Well, the thing was that my paperwork is being mailed to me so i can tell from numbers yet. Again, i called and make appoint to bring it in this thursday.
Oh boy, thats no good fabulexus. On your paperwork, it should show the tsib numbers which indicate the parts they ordered. If they are not on the paperwork or do not match what was given here, then they did not order the correct parts. The one tsib number is for the new mirror which is different than the ones our cars came with.
The only TSIB I could find open on the ISF (among other lexus vehicles) is L-SB-0090-08 "Upper/Lower Windshield Tick Noise"Nevermind, I think I found the official Toyota TSIB site, but it requires a fee...damn!
Anyone have a listing of TSIBs up to now (or relatively recent one)?
Also, a question for the replacement mirror for those who had it done...
Does the new one have the same F blue light that shines down from the underside?
Appreciate any responses as I'm taking mine in for regular maintenance and wanna have this done too.
I hear a creaking noise when I drive up a ramp into a parking lot. I think the torsion on the body of the car causes this noise, but I'm not sure where it's coming from. Could this be it?The only TSIB I could find open on the ISF (among other lexus vehicles) is L-SB-0090-08 "Upper/Lower Windshield Tick Noise"
If you have a creak, tick, or rattle noise from your upper or lower windshield according to the TSIB it may be windshield stoppers bonded to the glass or retainers. Dealers have the repair instructions if you have the problem. Would not recomend the repair unless you actually have the problem based on the repair instructions it sounds extensive. The repair is covered up to 48 months or 48k miles
If you hear the noise near the top of your windshiled or on the lower part of the windshield this could be the cause.I hear a creaking noise when I drive up a ramp into a parking lot.
