I sat there for over 90 minutes and they told me they did not receive
87844-53020 INNER MIRROR WIRE

not installed yet, so I will wait for them to contact me.
They had the part I needed so I dropped the car off today, got a SFP IS 250 loaner. Picked it up just now and it seems to work well. It said "C" on the compass for a few minutes, about 10 minutes or so, then said "SW." I think it was calibrating or something. I attached a picture of it.

How do you find out about the TSIB's? Is this on the Lexus (or other) website?
Nevermind, I think I found the official Toyota TSIB site, but it requires a fee...damn!
Anyone have a listing of TSIBs up to now (or relatively recent one)?

Also, a question for the replacement mirror for those who had it done...
Does the new one have the same F blue light that shines down from the underside?

Appreciate any responses as I'm taking mine in for regular maintenance and wanna have this done too.

Taking mine to the dealer tomorrow for my 5K mile service and giving them the TSIB info. I mentioned the vibrating mirror during my 1k mile service and they just tightened the mirror, unfortunately it did not stay tight for long. It will be replaced now!

Fabulexus- that is correct, it is not a "recall"- it is a technical service bulletin.
Basically, if the consumer complains about it, then the dealer does the service/replacement. If the consumer doesn't mention it or care, then life goes on.

Brought the car in on Monday for the 5K mile service and brought it back today to have the mirror replaced. They had to order the parts, which came in yesterday. So far so good.

How do you re-program the home-link? No new instructions and looked in the book and it does not work the same way as the other mirror, couldnt get the home-link to link to my garage door.

The instructions from the book say to hold down the select home-link button you wish to set, and at the same time pressing the button of the transponder from the garage door until the fast pased blinking slows. When I hold the desired home-link button and the button to my garage door opener, it just stays a solid red color, it never blinks. Also, I do not have a rolling code opener so that is not the issue.

Nevermind, after playing around with it this morning I finally got it to work. The key was to continue holding the buttons until it started to flash, which was about 20 secs after the garage door had completed its upward or downward move.

Oh boy, thats no good fabulexus. On your paperwork, it should show the tsib numbers which indicate the parts they ordered. If they are not on the paperwork or do not match what was given here, then they did not order the correct parts. The one tsib number is for the new mirror which is different than the ones our cars came with.
