Okay, so go figure. As I'm driving an AWD IS-250 loaner home tonight (10K service for the F) I see my first IS-F on the road here in Northern Virginia. One thing I noticed were that the fog lamps matched (or very nearly matched) the HID headlights. Anyone know where I can get those types of lights? I really don't like the yellowish looking ones that are standard on the car.

I'd also like to change the mirror (puddle) lights to the LEDs I read about in another post as soon as I can figure out what make/model those were.

Many thanks!

I thought they all came with the same color lights. My fogs match my head lamps. I'd say check the dealership. Atleast they can tell you the make and model or maybe one of the venders on this site can get you a set for a decent amount.

They are aftermarket more then likely. Give me literally a few minutes to look up the numbers and I'll post them up. I have aftermarket ones and they look great

the Fogs are H11's
I believe the DRL's are 194 Wedge bulbs

Thanks, Mike! And the next question is.... where's a good place to buy those?

I asked them and they said mine were the standard ones. Of course only seeing one other one on the road doesn't help establish a benchmark. :)

I like the headlamps I have, I just want something brighter for the fogs.
Get some different H11 Bulbs with a high heat wire harness and you'll be fine. It'll look awesome

Your DRL's run off your high beam bulb. If I recall those are 9005. The wedge bulb is the "city light" or "running light". That bulb is the 168/194 wedge bulb.

Your right, typed in the wrong bulb. Thanks for the correction flipside.

NO you just have to pop out the clip in the wheel well and un screw a screw underneath. Then pull liner back and you can fit your hand in there to replace the bulb, took about 10 minutes total.

try here to look up bulb sizes.
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/AutoLRG-Results.htm

this company has LED's, but i have never bought from them and have no clue about their service or product quality.

http://www.autolumination.com/

if you want HID conversion for fog lights try this company. again, i have no clue if the products will work out well. i read their instructions, seems like easy conversion. the company is one the vendors here, there is a coupon code for $30 "FORUMHID30"

http://www.wooddashexperts.com/customer/home.php?cat=3393

hope this helps
