Whats the first mod going to be for this car? I wonder what this motor is going to be capable of.

I don't think I will do any modifications in terms of engine. However I will probably get some 20" rims staggered.
in order lOl
1. tints 5% all around 35% on winshield(after a lil while i think this car might not even need tints but i always put them on alll my cars)
2. valentine 1 lOl
3. i am goign to match the xexons in the fogs with the reg ones i think the are liek 43 or 4800 whatever it may be
4. change drl, wedge, backup, turn sinal bulbs all to hyper white/xexon color
5. same plate covers i have sitting in my room the subtle lexus crome one that u cannot even tell are lexus unless u look very closely
6. if its true the calibers are gold and i do not liek how they look painting them to blk
7. i understand that when a chassi is designed the rims and tires are tested just as much as any other aspect of it and a major component to the handling ride etc... so what that said i would really love to get rims but do not want to take the chance of ruing performance or handling just for the lOok(please as much feedback as possible)
8. i want to put a system in but adding 100pounds i dunno if i can do that Lol

I think you should think this out a bit :D

please give me some consructive criticism lOl
Haha I don't think it could be anymore well thought out!
lol thank you
i'd just tint it out w/20% and that's it, no use messing up a beautiful thing
Those skinny wheels and tires gotta go. 19 inch staggered set up with 245 in the front and 285 in the back.
Tint and Valentine..Everything else I think you shoud hold back Everything on the car is designed for a reason. Once you starting changing one aspect then it will effect the other. Better call the pro's and get 2d, 3rd and 4th opinons before. Take it from someone who has a ton of experience with this and a former shop owner.....
Might go wild and add window tinting, but that's about

it. My suggestion would be to drive the car for the first 1000 miles, the break in period, and then some, before changing anything. Looks like Lexus did a very good job of the car the way it is IMHO..... Sometimes mods will detract from performance or handling over the factory specs. I could see that happening easily with this car....
I agree with Dean. I would also go change the fluids to RedLine ASAP! Keep in mind that the car will run faster in the cold weather. When summer comes it will be off slightly. Lexus built this car from the ground up so I would be very careful with the mods. I also like the SRX as well. I have had both in that and the Valentine. One for direction and the other for "scramble eggs" if you get my point!
My IS-F is to be here on 3-23-08, what tint would you use if you still want to be able to see in? What Brand and why? Would you buy the tefflon paint treatment? Has anyone seen the intregrated Ipod option? They act like it can be added.
I already got the yellow fog overlays they look nice, my next mod is 20% all around except front windshield...

Yup, I am quoting myself. So I have decided to not do anything to the car. It stays as is. As for maintenance, I will probably go with Royal Purple motor oil. Other than that, I'll be the one rolling with the stock-F :D.

I went 10% all the way around, and 43% on front windshield. Can see in during day...night time is stealth, jsut like I like it. But some people like to live in a fish bowl, others like stealth mode.

Would sorta also depend on how strict your state laws were regarding tint.

Five Axis has teamed with lexus and will be coming up with some performance mods down the road....just stay tuned
At the Houston Auto Show the people doing the demo (on a dyno outside) said that 20" wheels were available but that they did not recommend them because of their OD. The felt that the performance would be hurt.
i just ordered hids for the fog ther yellow
