Exhaust shaking on IS x50

i dont have a IS yet but everytime i see an IS on the freeway i notice their exhaust shake up and down very fast. Lexus probably made their hangers a lil too lose or something. is it the same on the IS-F? any harm in the long run?

never had any problem on any of my lexus i had a is250 is350 and isf if it bothers you put diff ones on they make stiffer ones you can get from any auto store happy to help
exhausts are always hung with rubber loops on the lexus/toy vehicles. Hangers need to be loose so you do not feel any of the vibrations in the chassis and thus cause a problem down the road.
It's the soft rubber exhaust hangers that are the culprit. As Fig mentioned above, it's soft to reduce NVH. Unfortunately, with the soft hangers, the exhaust will bounce up and down on uneven pavement. It's most common on the later Lexus models like the Gen2 IS (250/350), Gen 3 GS and etc.

well 1 i don't think that the IS's exhaust shake or anything because that would be dumb maybe your on bumpy road whenever you see them lol, but IS-F maybe a little because the quad exhaust are just for show they aren't built in with the exhaust they are just exhuast tips built in with the bumper
I was going to say the opposite^^

I have seen this happen on a few ISx50's while driving around town but their exhausts are fully connected, no tips, so the bouncing is more noticeable; whereas I would venture to say that because the full exhaust on the F isn't connected to the tips, there would be less noticeable shaking of the tips and exhaust over bumps.
