Exhaust catalytic smell

Hi In 2014 I purchased a F with 68000 miles on it. I'm getting a strong catalytic converter smell when the vehicle is pushed a little on the freeway. Even with the windows closed and the air control set too the recirculating position , I can still smell it. Has anyone had the same problem???
