How long will it take. Ive had the funds allocated for a while now and i need something before march 2011(Tx2K11). My custom Strasse forged wheels will be here tomorrow or the day after and i was really expecting to have headers before the wheels. I know its a good thing that i was cautious and didnt pre-order a set but im really hoping my car will be ready in time.

Sikky and Elite keep us updated! The power battle in this department isnt over yet!

Well right now the supercharger kit is the most important thing on the list. It is taking awhile and I know Splat wants his car back! He has been VERY patient with us!! So once that is done then we move on to the other ideas on the white board. I am really waiting to get these Sikky headers so I can test them back to back...

To be honest Im very much suprised no one from Sikky headers has replyed in this thread as to why there is such a delay .

It makes perfect business sense to me to at least try to defend your company name when a thread has been formed asking WTF are my headers.?

While im sure the end result will def be worth it , it prob wouldnt hurt to hear why there late from the horses mouth so to speak .

The Power battle will be good , and plays a role in which headers i purchase.
Alos which company will make a RHD version of there headers.!

Hello guys and gals, First of all we would like to thank everyone for there patience. Just to give a better explanation of what the hold up is......

All our delays have stemmed from the one and only step that we have to outsource. The ceramic coaters have been very backed up and the headers had been sitting there in line just waiting for coating for an agonizing two weeks before they started. We were told an eta that they were not able to meet and apologize for the delay this has caused. Due to the fact that we have tested with this coating from the beginning and its quality is second to none we decided to leave them in line and continue to wait. The thought definitely crossed our minds to send elsewhere, but in the end we believe this is for the best. In keeping with our business model and our motto "quality being #1" we did not want to rush to a new and untested coating facility just for profits or to sell more headers. Hope everyone can understand, and we can assure you it will be worth the wait. The most recent updated time for shipment will be end of next week/early following week depending on when you ordered. We will be drop shipping many headers directly from the ceramic coaters to save a day or two depending on your location. Again, thanks for the patience and we apologize for the delays.

They did tell us.... we are getting close to the 2 week mark. So I'd expect some announcement this week...

Well I should have my foot in my mouth at this point, however, it would still be good to know on a weekly basis where the stuff u have paid money on is and if so why it is being delayed.?

But as i have said, if the quality is as as good as there other headers appear to be then the power war will be very interesting.

chris at (sikky) told me the headers are in the coating as we speek yesterday and the coater will ship it today to him, and he suppose to received it by thursday and will start to ship to the 25 first owner... ( in order to the first deposit he received)

i just hope everything he tell me was true )

Talked to Floyd at Sikky yesterday. They have verified the headers are in transit back to them, so no headers were drop shipped from the factory.

Hopefully they receive them today or tomorrow. Next day air is $155.00 for anytime delivery. What a pleasure this has been, God I hope it's worth it...

I ordered mine on May 28th, visa charged on June 1st. Was told 3 weeks until they were ready to go on May 28th, its been 6 weeks past that and counting.

from what i've heard around here, all 25 sets are sold. i bet that the profit margin is around 2.5:1 on each set. so yes, free shipping for the $19,000 in profit that we are giving them, plus the fuck around we have been getting sounds like a good idea. and they have been sitting on our deposits for over 2 months now. $12,500 already for them. this is one hell of a group buy if u ask me.
