engine tick

Mine had a ticking sound, but I never bothered to try to isolate where it was coming from. Based on threads I read on this forum, I always assumed it was the direct injection.

I don't have the car any more so I can't tell you anything else.

You might want to search the forums and see what others have done.

Lexus said oil pump was bad. Car has been in the shop over a week.

Waiting on parts? It doesn't take a week to change an oil pump.

Yes they said they are waiting for gaskets.
