What are you guys doing??? I said I wanted you guys to change the oil ! J/k Looks great can't wait for it to be done. James
Motor is out!!! Was kind of a pain but now that i know the tricks it shouldn't be too bad to do again! As for the motor there is alot of shit on it, but its about half apart. I will post up pics in a bit! I think you guys will be suprised on how shitty to stock exhaust manifolds are! As for the intake manifold......... Perfection! Pics coming soon!

Awesome...can't wait to see pics. What you said about the intake and exhaust manifolds makes sense. So far from what I have read, aftermarket intake parts for the ISF net very little power gain if any. As for the headers, I have heard the piping is really narrow and exceptionally restrictive.

I would LOVE a set of headers (with free flowing cats...not just deleting them).
Andy, this is your single turbo kit? The turbo is mounted in the front passenger fender well? That seems like a good location due to the tight fit in the engine bay! I have always hated remote mounted kits--just seems like a streeeeeetttccchhh.

I would still like to see a roots style supercharger if it is practical.

No this is still the Remote mount set up. We are still working on a single turbo setup!
^^^^Oh, it looks like there is a turbo is the fender well. Where do you plan on mounting it?

Could you take a pict of the exhaust manifolds please? Top of the intake would be nice to.

did i read somewhere that the pistons are specially shaped like that for a reason to do with the fuel injections system. or am i confusing things.

Your correct that dish is for the Direct Injection
The intake manifold is at the porter! He thinks they will be able to do great things with it! Now I just need a stockish car to see what the gains are.
Man I wish I was close to you I would give you mine. I can't wait to see what that manifold will do. Talk about a hidden nitrous system haha.
Andy, you are the man. Awesome. What is with the assymmetry on the piston skirts? Are you planning on extending them on the new pistons to reduce rock? Thanks again for all the documentation. The intake mani looks great perhaps a this is why a bigger TB would benefit. Excited for the project.

WOW I didn't realize I never posted pics of the motor going together! Well it has been a LONG road but its coming to an end! We just started the first low compression F!!! It have the Elite Forged Rods and Elite Low Compression Pistons!! Sounds perfect!!! I couldn't be happier! I will have pics and a video in the coming days!
Just hope you built it in a dust free environment as in the Lexus commercial haha.
Andy that sounds exciting. wish you all the best and cant wait to see the final picture of the car!
