Many of you know about the IS F we took on that was built by another company in Texas. Well after all winter waiting for parts we are finally at the point where the motor can come together! All of these parts are available at www.Elite-Autosport.com/store

I just left the shop. The motor is together and in the car. I have the turbo kit all planned outcome I just gotta build it! I'm in bed now on my phone so I will post pics tomorrow! Its getting good!

That post was at 2am, and the night before that I was at the shop till 5am!!! late nights..... :(
thats a nice build! wanted to ask:

1- did you port/polished the head?
2- new stock head gasket or went with aftermarket? if so which brand?
3- am sure you honed the block before installing the pistons, but just wondering if you decked the block or even surfaced the head for perfection?
No port or polish, it shouldn't be needed
Factory Head gasket was used, they are MLS gaskets like the Supra.
Yes we honed the block, but there was no need to deck either the block or head because they were WELL within spec.
