Dry carbon fiber roof (Pics & Vid)

2618 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Fig
Got the roof done in the 3M Di-Noc vinyl and the chrome trim around the windows in flat black. The roof looks amazing when light hits it. I'll post better pics later. Was busy with a photoshoot all day so I haven't had a chance to take outdoor shots yet.

^ the last shot makes the CF weave look weird only because the weave pattern gets distorted when you shrink the image.

^ Closeup shot outdoors. (shot isn't color corrected yet...)

Here's a quick video of the work

This was done at Lyle's Vinyl Style shop:

They will lose their business if it was shown in detail.
why is the trend to call vinyl dry carbon fiber. Is this not carbon-look??
Looks good for what it is and they did a grat job of installing it. Do you see weather in your area? I am wondering how it will hold up to the elements.
