Just wanted to share with all my experience at Pocono this past 8/08. I hooked up with tracktime for cars.com & had the opportunity to really explore the limits of the ISF, & well all I can say is WHEW!! The car really does the bussiness. The BMW & Audi guys were quite speechless by the end of the 3rd morning session. We were running the F-USA course which is 2.6 miles uses some of the NASCAR oval as well as both infield road courses. The speed of the ISF was readily apparant & I can not say enuff of how fantastic the Manu-matic box is. I never went beyond 6th gear on the main straight showing 140mph before getting on the brakes for the right going into the infield. The car handles very well staying flat & planted. By the afternoon VDIM was off. Turning it off requires exacting throttle control, it will spin if you become complacent. The brakes are the real story too. I clocked over 120 miles on the track & not once was there any fade...!! NOT ONCE. This was where I thought the car would show a weakness, but not a chance. My car has the bridgestone potenzas & those did however show some drop off towards the end of the day. They had 3300 street miles. I did adjust the pressures in the morning & again thru out the day. I will be replacing them with the michelin ps2. The better tire in my opinion. Now to the fuel, I arrived with a full tank & drained it in 120 miles, the onboard compu stated tank avg of HOLD ON 6.2 MPG... I could not stop laughing in my helmet. All told though I have nothing but praise for the ISF & so feel I bought the right car as compared to the Euro brands. May i also say that 2 corvettes at the event blew up in a blue cloud!! For anyone interseted in putting there ISF on track st the new facility in south Jersey near A/C try this site its 245$ for the day & well worth it.http://tracktime4cars.com

Sounds like a lot of fun! Do you have any pictures from the event?? Did the BMW and Audi guys you mentioned like the car as much as you did? :D

Its not surprising about the Bridgestone tires, I'm hoping to have the PS2's put on soon :)

I have some pics in the photo sec of this forum. Alsothere was a photo guy from http://www.racedayphoto.com at the event I may purchase a cd. The euro crew were checking out the ISF in the garage. Some had a little knowledge of the car most did not. However they all said the car was fast on the track with me passing them. To be fair & not to brag, I really mean it, alot has to be said about driver talent. So in all fairness most on track that day were not driving hard. A Porsche GT2 waved me by & hey that car can blow 99% any cars, with a capable pilot.
