Hey there, well I've owned by 2008 IS-F for a year now, put on 10k miles and with a little carelessness, did some damage to the paint and wheels. I'll be putting up before and after pictures. The car is being detailed tomorrow, and I believe Monday the wheels will be refinished.

Wheel Damage

Paint Chips

Actual pictures of the swirl marks are hard to see, I'll get much better pics before it gets detailed.

I'll tell you right now that the chip repair isn't perfect, which may have been the result of my poor application, but it appears to have dried in a much darker pigment. The car is getting detailed tomorrow, and at that time I'll get the rest of the pictures.

I highly recommend taking the wheels off the car once a year and cleaning them with P21S, warm water and a wheel brush on the inside. Dry them and then use Poorboy's wheel sealant. Your wheels like look new and won't get all this road tar sticking to them.
