Debadge fenders?

5601 Views 13 Replies 12 Participants Last post by  diablo2184
Just picked up my ISF and want to take the F badges off the fenders. Before I do so, does anyone know if there are post guide-holes?

Thanks!

Yes,

I would like to know too. I was planning on Removing the Chrome LEXUS from the left of the trunk, as well as the IS before the F symbol on the right of the trunk.

I also wanted to replace all the F badges with aftermarket F badges in Black Chrome. Does anybody know a manufacturer of these? I have seen them from Carson Tuned in Black Pearl, but not in Black Chrome. Carson Tuned has a Black Chrome front grill surround, but l-tunedparts.com did not mention anything about the F symbols or anything else.
To the original OP, I have no idea whether there are holes or not behind the F on the fender. I had mine replaced at the dealership, you might want to ask them or maybe one of the guys on here knows.

I have the Black Chrome emblems on my F. Clark at VIP Status can do them in either Black Chrome or Black Pearl. They look really good imo and I receive a lot of "those are the normal F badges are they..." type of questions. They're a little pricey but the quality cannot be beat  Let me know if you would like his email or contact info.
No holes especially on the trunk lid. In most most cases manufactuers have badges stuck with good double sided tapes only.
For sure, there are holes in the trunk lid. Been there, filled that.
Oops! No wonder my F feels heavy. Ha ha ha!
Keep them on...LOL

what's the difference between black pearl and black chrome???
Took all of mine off the lexus is and the f to powder coat them and yes there are holes the lexus has one hole the is doesnt and the f has one and the lexus symbol has 2 of them to remove them you use a special string that has wax on it and slide it through slowley for any help or questions hit me up
I would leave them on..
I would leave them on..

I second that. Not a lot of cars floating around with an F on the fender.
two holes in the lexus one at each end. One hole on the I no hole on the S the f has a hole on the trunk and fenders and the lexus circle L on the trunk has two holes one on each end.. worth it to leave them on rather than bondo and paint everything
damn that sucks that "Lexus" has holes. i wanted to keep the F's and L's and just take off the lexus word on the trunk.....
