in other words, even if the chip is small....go to the dealer and have a new one installed. this is why you pay so much for insurance, and your premium will not increase.

i agree with phoot. make your insurance replace for you after all you've been paying so much for them.

Just so you know, if the chip/crack is "smaller than a dollar bill" (6 inches), the insurance co. will try to get it repaired, not replaced.
I had mine done (replaced) on Tuesday, mine cracked about 18 inches..
Full glass coverage = no deductible.
Oh, and while it was there, i got my new mirror too, no more vibrating!

Well just so you know any smaller than 6 inches, crack it more so it'll be more then 6 inches... hehe
