I'm at 17k on my 2009. I have no brake issues, (squealing, warping etc) and my factory Michelin PS2's are at 6/32" in the rear and 7/32" in the front. It's holding up pretty damn well.
The PS2's have a higher treadwear rating, but longevity of a tire will depend on drive styles and habits. The PS2's are a very soft compound tire compared to the Bridgestones. I have this weird feeling the PS2's dont last as long as the RE050's.
