Couldn't find a previous post on this. The console power outlet is so high on my 08, I cannot close the lid while charging my phone. The outlet is mounted lower on the 09's. I contacted Lexus Customer Satisfaction and and received a reply saying they are documenting this for "product improvement consideration". If enough 08 owners contact them, maybe we can get a retrofit kit. Their phone is 1-800-255-3987 and the person to talk to is Nanette Tran.
