i agree. the cig lighter and the plug in the console probably run on the same circuit linked to the same fuse. can't believe a "tech" or "service advisor" said that. wow!sounds like a load of bs because I always plugged my cell to charge in my 07 GS all the time. I do the same with my 09 isf with no problems.
