I got lucky and found a low profile USB charging adaptor for my iPhone / iPod. Works great and I can close the console.

Ummmm I use the cig lighter outlet in the ashtray without any problems as the source of power for my cell charger. Am I the only one????

I like the console because it keeps the wires all hidden. I should just spring for the iPod adapter this year though.
