Chevy Corvette ZR1 vs Nissan GT-R although the GTR is a top notch performer it is no match for the ZR1.

Ghost you're seriously wrong about no one caring about any of those cars. Well for the GT-R i know for sure many car enthusiasts and owners care about it and plus GT-R.
I have been chasing a GT-R since (before) they were officially announced.. Local dealer emailed me yesterday to say he has one available (again). MSRP 76,000- he says i can have it for only 90,000.
I must say i enjoyed telling him that i am buying an ISF, and woud never pay over MSRP for anything. Also sad, because i am a long time Datsun fan, but i think the Lexus will make me happier in the end..
yes it will
ISF = happy happy joy joy
I enjoyed the Vid BTW. Too bad I would never get a vette for 100K. Too many old men I see rocking the joint around town. The ZR1 is a nice step up from vetes of the past, but its just not practical.

You should of seen me when I was down Nissan dealer down my way, with my F..They loved the car whether I was purchasing the GT-R or not..
However it's always the same fu**in story about someone ALREADY put a $30K deposit on the car..I'm thinking IF someone put a fu**in deposit why the fu** are they giving me the car based on first come first serve..It's ethnically wrong yes? Bunch of dumbfu**s..
As I said several times on this forum few years down whether V-Spec or Regular GT-R I'll get one as a 2nd car when the pricks decide to sell it at a regular price or max of $5K markup NOT $15K or $20k but $5k!

Besides the freakin launch mode will AVOID THE WARRANTY soon as you use it..whether it can withstand 15 times or not Nissan made it clear that you use it, BOOM! WARRANTY EXPIRED!!
That's the only way to get under 3.5 sec 0-60 timer..
No one cares about these cars. General Motors is months away from bankruptcy unless they merge with Chrysler so good luck finding a dealer and parts for your Vette in five years and GT-R owners have to fly in techs from Nismo headquarters in Tokyo just to get an oil change.:)

Just give me a blown IS-F and 295 tires in the rear and I will call it a day!
I personally love Corvettes..Especially Z06..Monster car! Very capable without or with mods..Although I personally don't know anyone with modded Z06 b/c it doesn't really need it..I don't think! But now that ZR1 is out, I don't agree with Edmunds reviews some of the time but this time out of favoritism for the ZR1 it really is Super car for that price..Although When V-Spec comes out next year who knows but for the time being..It's great..
If anyone ever get the chance to race a Z06(ZR1 with that price tag unlikely anyone will see it for sometime, unless out of luck) on the road DO IT!! You'll see what I'm talking about..BEAST!!
For mine, Chevy Corvette ZR1 is the best... I drive that car.. Its so nice.. I like it...
