The rarity is a bit of a selling feature for me. I like the fact that there isn't one on every corner. My dealer here in Calgary said that they sell about one a month.
Canadian ISF's
While reading an article in Canadian Driver, about the 2008 ISF, I stumbled upon a nice short sentence near the end of the article.
"Lexus says 200 IS Fs are destined for Canada for 2008. "
Now this gets me wondering how many '09s are destined?

Not sure about Canada, but for here in the US, there is no IS F production for July 2009.
I heard the number 290 were sold in Canada?
id bet the number to be in the thousands

Given the small size of the Canadian automobile market it doesn't make sense that we'd get 1/4 of the production...id bet the number to be in the thousands

The US market is more than 10 times the size of ours, yet they get less than 3 times the number of vehicles we do?

Yeah your friend is right. It will be in that way only.
I was at a dealership in Ottawa (Oct 26th) and they told me they have never sold one. I live in Airdrie, pop about 35,000 and there are 3 including mine roaming around.
I see them often in Calgary.
