And the weekend Canyon run Update:
We had more cars out this time than anytime before.
Lots of M3's, 335's, 3 series', M6's, an e55...
The supped up is350 was there again.
There was also a modded EVO X there.
The short of it:
When we started, it was an M3 leading, then a brand new M6, then me.
After I passed the M6, I was able to keep up with the M3. When we got to the first stop, I think the driver of the M6 wanted to trade cars. He said he used to make fun of ISF's (that is, until he saw me driving it). He's now a big fan (both of the car and my driving, though the latter still has much room for improvement!

)
On the 2nd run, things got a bit messy.
The temperature was much cooler than previous runs, thats the only thing I can attribute to the cars all over the road. Unfortunately, the lead M3 lost traction and slid up against the side of the mountain. No one was hurt, but hes got some body damage on the car.
The e55 was also all over the road, and finally slowed down and let us pass. His brakes were literally smoking when we got to one of the stop-signs / catch-up points.
My car was sliding more than usual, and I definitely felt a good amount of brake fade.
Oh, and the EVO X pretty much DESTROYED us all.
He pulled on an M3, and when he was leading the pack; he had to stop and wait a few minutes for the rest of the pack to catch up. That's a fast car, great driver, and amazing handling. (too bad its a Mitsubishi, I'll never get over my 80's Mitsubishi VCR eating my Beastie Boy's VHS tape! haha).
Thats it!
Everyone made it safely, just a bit crazier than we all expected.
