Hey Everyone,

here's a quick rapup of the meet.

At around 6:30ish we all met at the in-n-out parking lot.

there were about 4 or 5 BMW M3's, 1 M5, 2 x 335i's , 3 Charger SRT-8's, and ONLY 1 Lexus ISF, that was me!!

Then we went out for some canyon drives with the caravan of about 10 cars.
Everyone was safe, and we kept up a good pace. Had a blast overall.
Did manage to do a quick 0-60 race with a M3.
He set up all his launch control stuff, we counted to 3 and we were off!
He spun his tires a bit, I didn't so I came out ahead.

Fun meet up, I will definitely be at the next one. And we need some more IS-F's to represent, although I was a hit with all the BMW owners ;)

When I was chatting with Leeor at the last event, he mentioned that twice a month was even too frequent and that they couldn't draw enough people so they were going to try it out once a month for now.

Perhaps he'll post something for next weekend or the following after that.

I'm hoping to make it out again as well.
I had fun last time.
Maybe get in some more 0-X times against some M3's. :)

The meet was pretty fun just like last time.
A good showing of cars.
several m3's, a couple IS-F's, some c63's, a clk63, m6, srt-8's, and some other 330's and 740 BMW's.

The run was also lots of fun. that blue m3 driver is fast! the clk63 was also pretty quick. :)
didn't get any head to head runs though. maybe next time....

What's up Leeor!

You know I'll be out there. Got my 3K service, so the F is ready to go at it with that clk63 again! :)

Yes, the meeting was much fun again!

Lots of M3's and 335i's.

I was the sole ISF, although we did have one other IS350 with a bunch of mods.

I have to say, the Blue M3 leading the pack (we all know who that is) is Fast!
Excellent driving everyone.

I hope to make it out to the next one.

And the weekend Canyon run Update:

We had more cars out this time than anytime before.
Lots of M3's, 335's, 3 series', M6's, an e55...
The supped up is350 was there again.
There was also a modded EVO X there.

The short of it:
When we started, it was an M3 leading, then a brand new M6, then me.
After I passed the M6, I was able to keep up with the M3. When we got to the first stop, I think the driver of the M6 wanted to trade cars. He said he used to make fun of ISF's (that is, until he saw me driving it). He's now a big fan (both of the car and my driving, though the latter still has much room for improvement! ;) )

On the 2nd run, things got a bit messy.
The temperature was much cooler than previous runs, thats the only thing I can attribute to the cars all over the road. Unfortunately, the lead M3 lost traction and slid up against the side of the mountain. No one was hurt, but hes got some body damage on the car.
The e55 was also all over the road, and finally slowed down and let us pass. His brakes were literally smoking when we got to one of the stop-signs / catch-up points.

My car was sliding more than usual, and I definitely felt a good amount of brake fade.

Oh, and the EVO X pretty much DESTROYED us all.
He pulled on an M3, and when he was leading the pack; he had to stop and wait a few minutes for the rest of the pack to catch up. That's a fast car, great driver, and amazing handling. (too bad its a Mitsubishi, I'll never get over my 80's Mitsubishi VCR eating my Beastie Boy's VHS tape! haha).

Thats it!

Everyone made it safely, just a bit crazier than we all expected.
